IT’S BACK!! The much sought after and revered CROC Pod is back. The new P1 CROC, is meaner, leaner and full of upstanding and outstanding features to bring it bang up to date to what you ‘Sharper Carpers’ demand. As usual, you can tell it’s ‘Solar’ hardware from 10 feet away. With the advanced machining capabilities and with the precision of CAD’s 3D technology, it has allowed us to completely re-design this iconic ‘ground hugging’ pod, from the original version introduced in the 90’s. We’ve kept some of our best loved features , such as the World Wide style independent leg angle adjustment system (ILAS )and added not only twin main bars for rigidity and single upright components for a stronger chassis , but with increased front and rear bar widths and outer fitted leg attachments , gives the new ‘CROC’ unparalleled stability and is already being labelled as one of the most stable pods in the world, solidifying Solar’s domination of the bankware market. As the name suggests, it can be used as a ground hugging low set up, but as with all our Pod range, we recognize the need to cover all angling situations. The P1 CROC’s are fitted with the new semi quick release 3/8 BSF thread fittings on the newly styled Stubby legs (supplied ) , which are fitted to the outside ends of the bridge bars , enabling quick and easy attachment of those , or your chosen longer legs/bank sticks required in any given terrain , further increasing the adaptable capabilities of the set up. The cosmetic design of the fixtures and fittings are immediately noticeable, not only do they look futuristic, the ‘Super Grip’ fittings serve the purpose of easier adjusting and locking of everything in position, even in the coldest and wettest of conditions. The CROC is a peak performance thoroughbred, a precision-made piece of kit, designed and made entirely in the UK to the highest standards that anglers come to expect from Solar Tackle hardware.
