Affinium Feeder Rods
Designed and developed to exacting specification in the UK using the highest quality Japanese carbon material, the Affinium range fulfils the demands of anglers who command performance, durability, and refined power across a range of rods.
The range is engineered on two distinct blank actions to create a fully encompassing range.
The main Affinium range of 10’, 11’, and 12’ feeder rods, along with an 11’ float rod, is designed around strength, power, and control, with medium to high BTC ratings, making them ideal for casting larger weights and playing bigger fish.
Each rod in the Affinium range was developed as its own project, with design, engineering and testing carried out individually for every model. The process involved NuFish’s development team alongside sponsored anglers, consultants and engineers. All blanks were subject to extensive field testing and quality checks before final approval, and only those that met the required performance standards were included in the range.
Affinium 11ft Feeder Rod
Versatility was a key objective when we set about designing the Affinium 11ft feeder. Constructed on a 2-piece blank connected by a balanced spigot joint to allow the transition of power from the stunning fish playing top section that holds its 2.5mm solid carbon tip right through to its powerful but slim butt section that retains hidden power.
The design of this rod as stated, was its ability to handle smaller fish in its upper section but then its progressive action means that the power of its 280g BTC rating really comes into play when playing fish to double figures.
That retained power in the butt section lends itself to distance should the conditions require, meaning that this rod will punch method/window and traditional style feeders to distances of 65 mtrs with ease, while having the absorption capabilities to fish shorter distances down to 25/30mtrs when using bigger tackle for bigger fish or in windy conditions.
Supplied with 3 tips – 1oz/1.5oz/2oz meaning that by using the variety of tips supplied the rod can be versatile enough to make this a true allrounder.
The rod is supplied in a high quality protective sleeve.
