Birds Tackle is proud to support Harleston, Wortwell and District Angling Club, commonly known as Harleston Angling Club.
The club owns or manages six well-stocked fishing lakes at Weybread Pits, located in the beautiful Waveney Valley on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. It also controls members-only stretches of the River Waveney.
Whether you are an experienced angler, a beginner or looking for somewhere new to fish, Harleston Angling Club offers a varied selection of waters.

Tickets must be purchased before fishing and cannot be bought on the bank.

Fishing at Weybread Pits
Weybread Pits comprises six established fishing lakes:
Club Pit
Kingfisher Pit
Bottle Pit
Middle Pit
No. 1 Pit
Ocean Pit
Club Pit, Kingfisher Pit and Bottle Pit are reserved for anglers holding the appropriate annual membership.
Middle Pit, No. 1 Pit and Ocean Pit can be fished using day or weekly tickets. These tickets allow anglers to experience three of the club’s waters before deciding whether to purchase full membership.

River Waveney Fishing
Harleston Angling Club also controls stretches of the non-tidal River Waveney.
River fishing is reserved for club members and provides a different experience from fishing the Weybread gravel pits. Anglers should check the club rules, permitted access points and river-season requirements before fishing.

Harleston Angling Club Membership
Membership options are available for adults, senior citizens, registered disabled anglers and juniors.
The club also offers options covering its private pits and additional rods, subject to its current membership structure and rules.
Junior anglers under 13 can fish free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Other junior and concessionary options are available.

Night fishing is restricted to eligible club members and is not permitted using day or weekly tickets.
